Job Description
- Responsible for the coordination and organization of the annual Coronach Old Street Festival at the end of August
- Coordinate street art activities, including recruiting volunteers to facilitate various activities
- Market and promote the Coronach Old Town Street Festival through a variety of channels
- Handle festival logistics, including festival layout, market vendor bookings, etc.
- Handle professional artists and their requirements
- Secure local sponsorship
- Keep detailed records of the festival planning process for future reference
- Complete final grant reporting
Qualifications
- Social media and marketing experience
- Event planning and organizing experience
- Experience securing grants and sponsorship
- Good understanding of local history, arts and culture
Compensation & Time
This will be a contract position and compensation will be based on experience.
Total time commitment over the course of 8 months will be approximately 160 hours starting around 20hours/month and increasing closer to the event date.
